The inspiration for ‘Lloyd’ by Puik Art came from the ancient technique of hardening leather. By submerging and heating the leather in a specific order, the results sees the material becoming soft and flexible. Once you constrain the softened leather in a mold and let it air dry, it will harden and keep the particular form it was shaped in. By experimenting with this ‘old’ process, a series of handmade lamps honoring this ancient craft were created. There are different colors available – copper, grey, beige, so that everyone could find a proper piece. Lloyd lamp would definitely become a statement detail in your interior, whether it’s a kitchen or a home office.
