LABS, a full-service testing laboratory, has named Ray Swanson as the company's new president and chief executive officer (CEO).

Previously, Swanson served as CEO and played general management roles at various companies including Centice, TriPath Imaging, Baxter International, Dade Behring and Viracor-IBT Laboratories, which are focused on providing clinical diagnostics, medical technology and laboratory services.

LABS board of directors chair Kevin Cmunt said Swanson has a remarkable track record of achieving cost-effective growth and transforming diagnostics and laboratory service businesses.

"We look forward to Ray helping LABS continue to provide the donation community the critical laboratory services it needs," Cmunt added.

In addition, Swanson will grow the company in new and exciting service areas that will bring further value to the donation community.
