The weighted average interest rate of the inter-bank lending market was 3.54% this July, down 3.04 percentage points over a month earlier and up .76 percentage points over the same period of the previous year.

The weighted average interest rate of pledge-style repo was 3.60%, 3.22 percentage points lower than the previous month and 0.75 percentage points higher than the same period of last year.

Total turnover of the interbank renminbi market via lending, cash bond and repo hit CNY 16.42 trillion this July and daily turnover was CNY 713.7 billion, falling 37.3% over a year earlier.
